CONSTRUCTION LIABILITY
We prosecute and defend claims for owners, general contractors, architects, subcontractors and vendors in multiple aspects of claims arising out of construction projects. These include cases arising out of on-the-job injuries, OSHA compliance, equipment use, scaffolding use, materials failure, construction process/monitoring, large-scale property losses and risk transfer/indemnity issues.
Additionally, we have extensive experience in defending a wide range of construction defect claims in civil court and in commercial arbitration before the American Arbitration Association. These have involved defects in construction fields such as HVAC, concrete, structural steel, roofing systems, electrical, EFIS, refrigeration systems and drainage/civil engineering. We also regularly prosecute and defend claims involving asbestos, mold and lead paint.
