Niko K. Ames graduated summa cum laude from Albertus Magnus College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in healthcare management. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2021. While in law school, Niko participated in the Insurance Law and Regulation and Transactional Practice Certificate Programs, focusing his course of study in those aspects of the law. During law school, Niko worked with the Connecticut Urban Legal Initiative, providing legal services to nonprofit organizations in the Greater Hartford area. He also worked with the Connecticut Community Law Center, which provides low-bono legal services to low income individuals and families across the state. Since law school, Niko has

practiced in the area of civil litigation, focusing on cases involving residential housing disputes, collections, foreclosure defense and other civil disputes. Niko is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut.
